Making a basic HTML website

HTML is the language used to code a website. If you are not familiar with HTML codes, you can use a [web design] program which allows you to create a page in a similar way a desktop publishing or drawing program would. The [web design] program would save your page as a .html file. Effectively creating the HTML codes for you from what you design on the screen.
